Today's episode of Khichdi starts with Jayshree once again torturing Babuji as poor Babuji has had a nightmare that he died. Babuji is worried that after his death the house will have to be taken care of by Praful who is extremely incapable of doing this. Praful has gone for some interview and returned home once again without the job.
Babuji asks Praful to dig a pit outside and stay in it which Praful readily agrees to do. Later Babuji finds Praful sitting down to play chess. Babuji is happy that at least he is doing something good. Hansa soon joins Praful, and now they throw the chessmen around playing. Babuji asks Praful to go and get some things for charity.
Praful messes up again and ends up getting donkeys, puppies and goat instead of beds, pillows and coat. Babuji beats Praful and gets him home as he says that soon Praful will have to face legal actions against him for torturing people and Jayshree who is doing pooja nearby asks Babuji to be quiet as such things become true. Babuji hopes that this does happen to Praful, so that knocks some sense into him.
Babuji gets Praful a job in a gift shop. Now a poor lady falls prey to him this time, and she has come to get a gift for her husband for his birthday. Praful tries to sell her a get well soon card and then a sorry card. He also tries selling her a clock when she asks for a watch. Now Babuji is in for a shock when h asks for a newspaper, and Praful gets Punjabi daily.
Babuji is furious, but Hansa explains that he Praful has also got Parminder to read Punjabi out and when Babuji does not understand it still he also gets a Punjabi teacher. In comes a legal order from the magistrate as two people have sued Praful for mental harassment. Jayshree has a plan, and she decides to fight Praful's case.
Jayesh Bhai is in depression from the time he had ended up trying to purchase ornaments from a shop where Praful was the salesman. Poor Jayesh cries at the mere mention of Praful's name. In between sobs, Jayesh relates his sad story. Jayesh says that the entire discussion started when he told Praful about his daughter's wedding, and Praful wanted to know if his daughter is getting married to a boy.
The court case goes on and on as the judge is confused towards the end and wants to know what has been proved. The prosecution decides to leave his job as a lawyer and do something else. Jayshree manages to save Praful finally.
